Remarks

It was a well-organized process at Welingkar, Mumbai. There were two main processes, Group and Personal interview rounds. Questions are asked heavily based on your application form. Easy smooth process. Allotted time slots were followed. No last-minute hassles, extremely organized process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Extremely easy exams every two months. They weren't difficult to pass. You really have to try hard to fail in MBA. The faculty is great. Opportunities are endless. Extremely qualified and experienced faculty. Business Design is an upcoming and important field with various MNCs applying design thinking principles in their operations.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Various companies from Banking and Finance, Marketing, HR, and Operations domain provide internships. The stipends can range from 5000-75000. All students get internships for sure. Great committee to take care of internship placements.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for Placements from the 4th trimester. August last week-September 1st week companies start coming. Placements happen throughout the second year. Not sure about the highest package or the percentage of students getting placed. I'm planning to work after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

5,75,000 per year. 11,50,000 total. Divided in 4 installments. No scholarships that I know of. Financial assistance is provided in special cases after application review from a panel. Placements haven't happened yet.

Campus Life

There's an e-library with all the resources, books journals. Haven't visited the classrooms as colleges haven't opened yet but Welingkar has a fully air-conditioned campus. There's also a cricket tournament which is organized every year.

Hostel Facilities

There are AC and Non-AC rooms. AC rooms are slightly costlier but they're preferred in Bombay heat. The hostels will be approximately 5 Kms away for boys and 1-2kms away for girls. Mess facility isn't included in the hostel fees. WiFi is available.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

The placements opportunities are very good. mostly the whole batch gets placed. big companies like google and Microsoft come to campus and recruit a good number of students. it has a good average package in summers about 160000 per month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
