Anonymous's Review On Galgotias University - [GU], Greater Noida

I only apply to Banaras Hindu University but I have not cleared the entrance exam held by bhu. I have not availed any quota for admission. The admission criteria for bsc honours in chemistry is merit based or merit screening held by insutution . Candidate apply this program should passed 12 with pcm amd got 50 % marks In my campus counselling occur at fixed day se by the institute and second cutout goes for around 85% and then I choose honours in chemistry

I have chosen this course because I want to become a professor of chemistry and I also want to complete my postgraduate and cleared gate exam and become a professor of chemistry On my campus approx ratio of faculty: students is about 1:40 Meanwhile, faculty strength is good in my campus All faculty in my campus is postgraduate in their specimen subject and we'll be trained and master in teaching they somehow give their 100% for better enrichment of students Their teaching methods are also good But there is also one limitation of faculty they do not focus on practical and our lab staff are also not good Our course is divided into six semester and our exam is held by that six semesters wise Our exam is much hard as compared to other normal institutes nearby town The marking scheme of campus is very bad

Our course fees of BSc honors chemistry is about 1.8 lakh for 3 year which is 60000 per year which comprises 50000 course fees and 10000 lab fees. Fees is moderate as compared to other campus other campus I have not get any scholarships or any financial assistance At our last two semesters various campanies came for campus selection and provide some better placement Like ranbaxy ,dabur , patanjali, hindustan liver any many more But placement are not so big in chemistry feild as compared to computer science

Campus Life was totally awesome with the guidance of excellent faculty and great friends, classmates.The most important thing was gu was their environment wascalm and cool and you don't find any clash or fight on campus.it is best place for study and enjoyment One of most important teachers are so Frank they always supporting and modivated us campu library was so beautiful and consists of all best quality books as well as foreign journal Most important thing is that if you any book you may noted to librarian it will reach you at within 2-3 week Infrastructure of gu marvellous and extraordinary Classroom are so beautiful and consists of all facilities that you get in best campus In gu there is all facilities In my point of view Gu encourage students in sports and give all facilities required by sports person Gu provide practice experience through various competition In gu various sports club like dramatic club , basketball ball club, technical club ,dance club etc Gu annual fest-Quasar
