GPAT scored-30. Because this is the best pharmacy college in odisha including all the govt. & private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

About pharmacy-Because of the amount of responsibilities it requires, being a pharmacist is a profession far harder than one might think. One little mistake on measuring the medication can be potentially fetal. Also, pharmacists must know what many of the medications do and if there are any side effects and incompatibilities with other medications that the patient might be on.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it provides internship. But it does not give stipend but the study is very nice here. In my vies the stipend does not matters as if a student is getting a good college with all facilities available to him/her to the stream he/she applied to then go for the college where you can learn something practically.

Placement Experience

4

Placement and job opportunities are very good in the college. All the placement officers were trying to have 100% placement. So tried hard to get maximum companies for placement . TCS, Infosys, L&T, Infotech, Patni, WIPRO, SYNTEL, MindTree and many more came at that time.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the scholarship facility is also available in the college and any student scored FIRST division in both 10TH & +2 the he/she is awarded with sum of rs.15,000 per month. Moreover, the awarded money can be collected by the student every month or it can be adjusted with the yearly fees he/she gives in the institute.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is being conducted every year in the college with best arrangement. The programmed named is- AMITY. Yes, the seniors are really very helpful and the most important thing is that , there no ragging or harassment is done with the juniors by the student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After completion of B Pharm I was in a dilemma that whether I should go for job or what? My teacher's and seniors told me that if you will do masters then you will be having more opportunities in your field, So I prefered to do Master's. In case of teaching methods one thing is there that has to be changed that is teacher's must provide written notes to students so that it will somehow easy for them to understand a topic properly.

The average package in Pharmacy here after completing B pharm is 2.5lakh per annum and M pharm is 3.5lakh per annum. So it's pretty deal according to me. Atleast we are getting placements. And we have hospitals nereby so getting a job is easy here.
