Remarks

I applied for Hindustan college as it had its reputation for its name. But due to my distance from home to college, I opted for Mohammad sathak. I didn't avail any type of special quota during my admission process. I went to the admission council of the college directly and reserved my seat. their minimum eligibility of admission is about 50 percentage in their 12th board exams and their age should be above 17.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Whoa! I was actually into computers from my school days so I opted for this course which blends both computer usage and some numbers too. The ratio of faculty/students will be around 1:5. The teachers are very knowledgeable and surely you can gain more if you want to. They mostly focus on the syllables but on an interest basis you can gain more practical knowledge. They will conduct a semester exam under madras university every 6 months

Internships Opportunities

3

No such projects are offered during my final year to us. Only a few companies offered their openings so it was hectic to secure a job through campus interviews. This should be rectified .on the whole my advice is if you want to get a job through campus interview you can opt for some other college

Placement Experience

3

Not many seats are available during campus placement so there will be heavy competition. Accenture, htc are some reputed companies which offered openings. The starting package will be around 8,000. Only around 10% of the students are getting placed which is a major drawback of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

It seems that the college fee has raised nowadays. Other than the college fees you'll have to buy your own books and there will be a semester fee of 500 around the time of the semester. You can avail a first graduation scholarship too. During your finals, they will conduct a campus interview through which you can get into an internship but not many seats are available.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure was pretty good but the standard of the students are not that good if to say. So many events will be conducted by different departments. More than curriculum many students like to involve themselves in the extra curriculum so there will not be a defect to quench your sports hunger in that college. Only the students club will be there.

Accounting and Financing is my intrest When the world start to depend on AI, I started to learn Accounts and Commerce concepts. It prepares me more intellectual, and enables me to handle real world tasks. Moreover I am learning something which is never thought by schools.(Discipline, Social interactions). It needs to include real time example and focus on economics and history of Accounting Exams are conducted twice in a semester (internal) and end semester exams are conducted once per semester The difficulty of the exams are really easy if we just pay attention for the lectures

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
