Remarks

I applied for Revensaw University but it was in Cuttack and I wanted to stay in Bhubaneswar so I didn't go. The minimum mark required was 92%. They set a cut-off and qualified students were called and were asked to fill some form and pay admission fees. Then we were handed a temporary ID card.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty and students ratio is 5:20. The teaching methods are really ordinary. Not so interesting. The faculty is well qualified. But again it's not about qualifications but the quality of teaching which wasn't upto the mark. The exams aren't that hard to pass. Passing is easy but scoring well is difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no stipend or help for us general middle-class students. But a small amount of scholarship was given to people with reservations and those who were below the poverty line but the fess was as low as 2000 so it wasn't that hard to afford it.

Campus Life

There was no such celebration. Nothing was done for recreational purposes. If you are lucky enough then you will get a sound farewell. Books were available but ofcourse the amount was less. The student here is of mixed variant. Some like to mingle some dont. No spirit or extracurricular activities on the campus as far as I was here. No clubs or groups.

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

The lab of the physics department was nicely arranged and we can get chances to conduct practical easily and the lab assistance teacher was nicely described the process and helping us to get the readings. The class rooms are too calm and silent which gives your soul a refreshment.

Placement Experience:

This college has 8 semesters. From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements. In 7th,8th semesters different schools come for taking teachers. Usually, RIE students get 1st preference in all JNVs and KVs. Jnvs amd kvs have good contact with RIEs. 400000 per anum is the average and the highest goes to 600000. Generally there is 100% placement but much students prefer pursuing higher course by doing Msc.

Field of Education has a Showstopper

Placement Experience:

JNVs and KVs from all around the India hovers to recruit young teachers from the college. It's a student's choice to opt for a private school or government school. The website is pretty good in terms of recruiting. Schools from Dubai too seek teachers from our College.

Remarks:

No positive or negative marking. Students get their marks on the basis of what they have written and what they study. No cheating is made in college. They were very strict about the exam. The marks do not matter every time.
