Remarks
The admission process was very simple & not very complicated. There was an additional entrance exam for admission. Just visit the website of the institution & checkout the admission portal. You only need to have a good percentage in 10+2 to avail of admission here. The minimum percentage to avial admission is based on the number of candidates pursuing admission & the number of seats available. Since various subjects are available therefore the students gets their desired subjects easily.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took admission here because I is one of the top colleges in Nagpur & considered to have a nice teaching faculty. As far my experience they definitely have a great faculty & they are sincere regards college curriculums. Also college exams are regularly held prior to the university exams. The level of these exams is same as that of University exams so you have good practice prior to final exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of Shivaji Science college is low then we expect from a government college. Also, scholarship is provided to reserved category students. Their fees is refunded to them, so cost of education for them here becomes extremely low. While General category students have to pay fees & no scholarship is provided to them. But as I said fees is low so it does not matter much.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted regularly here. During my first year we had a three days college fest where we did different activities on different days. Talking about the library, the availability of books is great. The library is full of needy books. Also the library staff is very friendly. The college has a canteen ground where students can be in their free time. Also sports week is conducted here, where the students from the whole college can take place. Various sports are included where girls can also take part.
