All about SN Bose

For admission to Polytechnic colleges in West Bengal, every student has to attend the entrance exam called JEXPO. Depending on the rank, students are selected for government or private colleges. But in my case, my rank was not good. But I was lucky enough to get a Government College in Malda through offline counseling.

I always wanted to be an electrical engineer that's why I chose electrical. In every department, there are 60 students. Faculties are good enough. The library is also available with lots of books. There is also a Smart Class available for better teaching. Every 6 months, a semester is conducted. Students have to pass the exams to avoid backlogs.

Placements are not so good. But placements are given. Various companies come every year. Some of my seniors have got jobs from here. But I wanted higher education that's why I have not tried for the placements.

As this was a Government College, Fees & other costs were bearable. I have not applied for a scholarship. You have to pay 1250 every year for admission. Before every semester you have to pay only 250 as an exam fee.

Every year, Freshers' Day, Teachers' day, Social, Farewell etc is organized. Saraswati Puja, Viswakarma Puja is celebrated every year. Also, Blood Donation camps and other social curriculums are also conducted. Cricket , Volleyball matches are conducted.
