Overall my experience was good. The management is a bit slow but they find their way eventually.

I was a Gujarat Board Student. I appeared for the GUJCET during my 12th standard and through the score of this exam and the exam of the main subject combined, I got the admission.

The course curriculum is a very standardized. The total credits of my course are 210, which meets the international standards of a Bachelor's degree. The curriculum focuses on the basics of mechanical engineering and it is very general. The curriculum also compresses the practical work.

Our college doesn't provide any type of internship. Although I and my classmates went to several companies in our locality for an internship.

Placements for some engineering branches are quite good. Many from other departments got selected in the various organization with good packages. However, only two or three companies came for the placements in my department. Some of my classmates took that as an opportunity and they went through the recruitment process and they even got selected.

There are many technical as well as cultural and festivals are celebrated in our college. In the main technical fest students from different college have also cheerly participated. I also voluntaried for the technial fest. In addition, we also celebrate the sports week, during which we organize small tournaments of various games and give the prizes to the winning side.

The annual fees of my course were Rs.50000 which not very expensive. Other than that we had other normal expenses like stationery, books, xeroxes, prints etc. The transportation facilities from city to college and vice versa is also convenient. For that we had to pay extra Rs. 14000 a year.

There are many need base scholarship offered by the college to various students. Certain students also get benefitted by their higher ranks in previous studies and finished their education at almost no cost.

The campus of college meets the modern standards. It was refurbished recently and some major changes were made. Most of the labs are equipped with the computers, which is essential according to today's need. The internet connection is one of the best connections available in our city.

There is also a hostel facility available in our college. The rooms are quite big and twin sharing. The hostel fees were around Rs. 36000 a year including all the food cost. The food mess is beside the hostel, so the hoteliers won't have to travel any further for the food.

The senior students were most helpful during my studies. They shared their personal experience with us and guided us well in the right direction. With the help of their advice, we skipped the mistake that they did during their studies.

Exam structure is followed according to the standards of Gujarat Technological University. We have two final exams at the semester end each year. In between the semester, we also have the mid-term exams which evaluate our strength over the subject after the half semester.

I was a Gujarat Board Student. The admission process is associated with the ACPC. It is common admission portal for students of Engineering, MBA, Diploma, Pharmacy to get an admission in the Gujarat Technological University. My college is too affiliated with Gujarat Technological University.

The faculties of my college are great in their respective fields. Many of them even have the professional field experience which is very much helpful while teaching to us. They share all their experiences and guide us accordingly. They also guided us well in our project work and all the laboratory work during the course.
