Overall my college is too good for me.

The name of the college is Raiganj University that i was applied but i was not attending because I had no sufficient marks for admission. The admission criteria is 40% marks of the matriculation result and the rank of jexpo examination. The minimum age for applying is 15 years. It is mandatory to score at least 35% marks in aggregate without the marks of an additional subject. The admission process is varry to different allotment round as like round 1st,2nd,3rd, 4th ,5th etc if more students get close ranking then it happened.

I took Mechanical Engineering because I really love 3idiots and also machinery things. But when I entered the college it was a completely different experience. The vastness of the subjects was awesome for me and I can give you an overview of my 3years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. The faculty was helpful, they taught us in different manners like through online video or presentation, and they all of them co-operate us. The students to faculty ratio was 10:1. I didn't get industries exposure. The curriculum of 3 years was very useful for me. It build me for the future. I was very satisfied with the college. Teachers are supportive, and there is good infrastructure. The term exam is 3years timely. Yes it is hard on several levels to exam , academic performance. The exam paper is tough for us. It was small difficult to pass on exams.

The admission fee 200/- during 1st admission in every year, if you want tuition then extra fees as 50/- , caution deposit 40/- one time, session charge 50/- per annum , if you live in hostel then extra fees 50/- , electric charges for hostel 50/- per month for hostellers, registration fees 150/- for 1st and 2nd year for VOCLET students( one time) paid to wbscte and VE and SD (TE), exam fees 250/- per semester exam. The scholarship name post metric scholarship. The financial assistance for students percentage is 23%. I passed out in the year 2020. I got a job on campus. The placement history is good but the salary packages offered are not high. It is 7000 to 11,500 per month as stipend.

In our batch we organize various events like sports, fest, lab programmers, innovation programmers etc. The last annual fest is RP EUPHORIA. This day is also exhibition day of all department . This fest is held March 2018 which they are conducted. Library has a rich collection of about 13000 volumes in stream of Engineering and technology, applied science and management. No wi-fi is available. The classroom are slightly good, the library is good, the hostel quality is very poor and the hostel is abandoned. Canteen facilities are not available in the collage campus. The hostel canteen is not much good. In our polytechnic college, we have excellent teams in various disciplines. We also encourage and commend students who have received individual honers in representing region and states. We have a physical fitness group in whatsapp app. The group is totally useful for me.
