Entrance Preview

I gave college entrance test and interview for selection. I chose Amity because many of my friends suggested it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is okay. It is same as of other good colleges. It can be improved though. More stress should be given on coding languages like C, C++,Java,Oracle etc. Rest , everything is okay. We also have one foreign language subject like French, German, Spanish etc.

Internships Opportunities

I have not much idea about internship actually whether it provides or not.I think it does provide but can't make a comment as in what is the stipend and experience.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are very good. 95 to 97 percent of students are placed in different companies like Headstrong, Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, Igate Patni, Delloite, Capgemini, HCL, Virtusa, Cognos, Aspire systems, google, HCL, Comnet etc. All selected candidates get their joining for sure.

College Events

4.5

We have cultural programmes, fests, technical quizzes, robotics competition, technical fests, inter college and inter state level competitions, and much more. It is organised on a big level and Amitians all across the world participate in all the competitions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I did not avail any loan facility. But yes, They do provide loan facility and scholarship both. Many of my friends availed loans from various banks associated with Amity.

Exam Structure

We have semester exams half yearly(called as major exams) and we have exams every 3 months (called as minor exams). 40 percent of the minors and 60% of the majors are counted to get the final aggregate. We cover nearly 40% of the syllabus in minors and full i.e. 100 percent syllabus in majors.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is undoubtedly good. Though some teachers are the best and others are just okay. Mostly, faculty is strict. They never allow you to bunk the class. They teach you other than the bookish knowledge also. They help you make proper notes and ask if any doubts.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field
