Remarks

I was In DARRANG college But It Is Far Away From My Home And I'm Was Not Comfortable On That College Then I Took A Gap Of One Year And Take Admission In Kharupetia College. The Admission Process was very tough I have to stay in line for 6 hours the first day but didn't get a chance to enter the entrance but on the second day I have successfully taken admission (Form Fill Up) after staying in line for 5 hours

I Have to Choose This Course Because I'm Following My Passion By Choosing POLITICAL SCIENCE Honours. Faculty 1:100 Students Lack Of Faculties So That Department Need To Hire Contractual Teachers. Faculties Are Well Qualified But Not Friendly At All. Exam Is Well Maintained. If Students Regularly Attend Classes Them There Is No Fear Of Fail. Exam Occured At Exact Same Time. I'm Impressed With Exam Maintenance.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

This College Is Government Runned College. We Only Need To Pay A Little Amount For Admission After Every Semester. I Have Not Received Any Scholarship And There Is No Job I Got On-Campus With Stipend Coz There Is No Facilities Of Job Offerings.

There Is No Lack Of Availability Of Books In the Library. Library Is Filled With Every Kind Of Books. Course Related, Research Related, And Many More. Beacause Of Current Covid Situation The Last Two Years Extra-Curricular Activities And Annual Functions Are Not Happening. But In normal Situations, College Celebrate Its Annual Functions With Many Programs And Competitions. There Are Two Groups of Students Union One Of them Is ALL ASSAM MINORITY STUDENTS UNION ( AAMSU) And the Other Might Be ABVP( NOT SURE). The Union Leaders Are Very Kind And Helpful. There Is No Ragging In The College. The Official Website Of College Only Run By College Administration

The attitude of the faculty and the helpfulness of the Vice Chancellor also the principal is very impressive. Remarks:

Overall, I'd say college is very good. It is one of the finest colleges in the state. I came from elsewhere to study at this college and I don't regret my decision. I made many new friends and now I am used to the environment so it will be difficult for me to leave this place.

I had applied for DARRANG COLLEGE, Mangaldai College, B.Baruah College The Reason For Not Attending Was I wasn't on the merit list of two colleges but I was on the merit list in mangaldai college but I prefer Kharupetia College because it is close to my home. I Have Availed Quota Of OBC when I took Admission. I got Admission for free like others. First Of All I Have Applied Only In This College For The Course Because There Is No College Around Our Area This Is The Only Option We Have.
