Remarks

Emerging university, provides ample scope for persuing Ph.d abroad specially in Japan and Jermany, great hostel facility and some really experienced and skilled faculty members. 24 th July, 2018 admission, normal procedures including original marksheets and certificate verification and then hostel room allotment.Labs need a little more space with more improved instruments and machineries.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I loved chemistry that's why I persued M.Sc. Overall impression on faculty - above average. 13 to 15 faculty members and 30 students. Teaching methodology of some of the prof. was awesome. Rest were average. Term exams were held tentatively at the end of the course with several class tests, mid-sem exam and presentations. One year mandatory project work. Prof.s were student friedly. Exams level were intermidiate, questions were asked from the topics taught in the class.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, I did a summer internship in TIFR Hyderabad spaning 2 months with 7500 stipend per month. Hostel fee was free. The Project was under the supervision of Dr. Anukul Jana and V Chandrasekhar. Initially I was taught the procedures and methods by the skilled students there then I was assigned to make some compounds required to perform further research.

Placement Experience

3

Regular campusing held every year. From 3rd sem students were eligible to sit for the campusing. Mainly private teaching institutes used to come at that time like Byju's , aakash, pathfinder. Some pharma companies also came . Package depends on the companies varying from 4 to 10 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Admission fee 45000, with approx 35000 per 6 month including hostel and mess charge. No fee hike. Scholarships for financially weak students so I didn't get any. Campusing at the end of the course mainly private teching institutes like Byju's, Aakash, Pathfinder etc.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was the best part of the course. Single room hostel with floor cooling technology, spacious dinning hall, cricket ground ,badminton and basket ball court, TT tables made those days great indeed. Nice friends, helpful seniors made it really easy for me. Elan and Nvision is the fest held every year with one ice cream and DJ night per sem. Availability of books was good but needs to be improved. No. of Class rooms were little short at that time. New building work was under construction.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Single hostel room with floor cooling technology to prevent scorching heat of summer. Normal usual meals were served. Milk bread butter tea coffee were available daily with different breakfast items like idly ,aloo parotha ,dhosa etc. Veg meal are served. Extras were to be bought separately. Chicken, eggs were easy available, fish seldom.
