Course Curriculum Overview

As I was very interested in field of Neuroimaging using AI tools and from biomedical department along with AI in healthcare, I get to know about human anatomy and physiology. So I choose this branch to involve myself in research field of healthcare based on AI

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I opted for internship. In this college all students of pre final year can opt for internship. MTECH students are offered Joint master thesis for 1 year as their project by some companies.

Placement Experience

In term of placement, IIT Ropar did very outstanding job this year. In covid situation more than 85% students get placed with median salary of 12 lakh per annum. Rest students are opting for heigher studies .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is similar to all the IITs, in Master program we are getting MHRD scholarship of 12400 per month as a teaching assistantship. Regarding job, many companies offer very good salaries and more than 80% students are placed with median salary of 12 lakh per annum. Rest student plans for heigher studies and research.

Campus Life

Life at IIT ropar is very interesting, as it has most beautifual campus compare to all IITs. Hostel facilities is very nice. Food and mess facilities are also good. Annual fest, Tech fest,sports meet are awesome here. All clubs, societies and even placements are taken care by students only.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, in MTech everyone has to opt for hostel, hostel and mess facilities are best in this campus. Hostel is well maintained with all the facilities. Any one can issue sports item from hostel. Regular cleaning is done in hostel.

Chandigarh University - A Wise Choice

Placement Experience:

There are a multitude of oppurtunities in placements at CU , you become eligible at around 5-6th Semester ( it varies ) All major companies like amazon , godaddy , Deloitte , Wipro , Microsoft and 1000+ more companies visit the campus resulting into a staggering 8000+ offers recieved by students of the University Highest package in my current session of placement is 41 LPA by Godaddy and average is somewhere around 6-7LPA , there are a multitude of post offered from Software engineer to developer , database management , buisness analyst , data analyst etc Placement percentage is a really variable factor but more than 50% of students surely gets placed for the bare minimum. My personal plans after the degree is to either get a decent paying job or pursue higher education which highly depends on future scenario.

Placement Experience:

There are placements drives being held in the campus but not for the physiotherapy field. But still they do help students to focus on building employability skills through compulsory internships , project works and hospital or clinical tie ups. Many students build strong resumes via internships, research projects, and online certification (Coursera, linkedin),etc. After completing the course I am planning for persuing masters in this field.

The best out of best about iit ropar

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side...Read More
