Remarks

I was looking for the best colleges in Rajasthan providing computer science and engineering programs. I got to know about this college from my relatives whose son was also studying there. I filled my admission form offline by going to the college. documents like a photocopy of adhar card, a copy of 12th marksheet, domicile etc are required. The admissions generally begin from the month of January. My application fee was Rs. 1,100.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

To be a software engineer I made my choice for this course. The curriculum of the course is well defined. The programme is divided in eight semesters and each semester unfolds something new with it to learn. The faculty: student ratio is 1: 15. The College is having the best and dedicated faculty members, who try to clarify our doubts. The paper level of the college is average.

Internships Opportunities

4

I was fortunate enough to get an internship in Wipro. I was responsible for configuring and testing the Wipro proprietary TBA System to meet the requirements of the customers. My internship was of 3 months, and I earned a stipend of around Rs5,000 per month.

Placement Experience

4

After their sixth semester the students are eligible to sit in campus placements. Over 500 companies visit the campus with more than 1,700 offers. Topmost companies visiting the campus are Wipro, Goorej, Oberoi hotels and resorts, Dabur etc. The highest salary paid by the companies is Rs. 30,00,000LPA, and the average salary package is Rs. 4,50,000LPA. 80% of the students are placed in these companies. I am also planning to get placement in one of these renowned companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total tution fee of the program is Rs 7,81,000. It is a bit high. But the college also provides several scholarships to its students especially on the basis of merit. Like my friend scored 75% in her 12th because of which she got some concession during her admission.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus of the college is very big and beautiful. There are proper facilities in the campus like free WiFi, AC classrooms, medical facilities, library, 11 ground etc. Library of the college is very huge and stocked with over 2 Lakh books and many journals. The college also focuses on sports activities a lot and is having indoor and outdoor games facilities like ground for badminton, tennis courts, indoor rifle range etc. We have fests like Odyssey that lasts for three days and is generally held in March. We also have various clubs that are organized by students like social club, techinja (cyber club) etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

I took the hostel room with no AC which costs me Rs. 60,000, whereas the charge for AC rooms is Rs. 1,00,000. We also have to pay Rs.10,000 for one time Refundable Security Deposit. The hostel facilities provided are fine, there are separated hostels for boys and girls. One room is shared by two students. We get the faculty of laundry, WiFi, mess etc. The food in mess is nice and hygienic. The hostel is well secure as the security guards are present 24*7.

Admission

To be eligible to apply for the college it is completely to have scored a minimum of 60% in class 12th, with mandatory subjects being physics, chemistry and maths. Providing the scores of JEE mains or AMCAT is also compulsory. After this we had an interview. The interviewer asked several questions like why I chose B.Tech, about myself, my family background, why I chose Amity instead of others etc. I tried to answered the questions confidentiality without being nervous.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average but improving. Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. A few companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture (off-campus support), Capgemini, and some local Jaipur-based IT firms visit the campus. Most offers are for software trainee, support, testing, or analyst roles. The average package is around 3–4 LPA, while the highest package goes up to 8–10 LPA (mostly off-campus or through exceptional performance). Around 60–70% students get placed through campus or combined on/off-campus efforts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the modern and traditional aspects of pharmacy. But the real world application seems a bit weak. There's less time spent of product making, introduction to industries, communication skills. But they do prepare you academically for higher education and compititive exams. Teaching methods could have been better rather than just recommending books and writing notes on board. Exams are held frequently. Students have to prepare for both theory and practicals including vivas. I chose this course and college because I had to stay here with my parents and b pharm seemed like a good career option.
