My Journey at IIT BHU Varanasi

I did lot of research on multiple colleges and courses which I can get based on my rank and previous year rank closing of differnt courses, so particulary I got in touch with students of these college and asked my concerns and finally depending on that i had filled my choices, but finally getting a course is something you can guess but you cant be accurate since it also depends on the choices filled by the other candidates

Yeah, Its really good, especially my branch curriculum has be concised and keeps on updating as per the industrial requirements, About Acads someone really dont need to prepare like their 10th or 12th board examination, being attentive during lectures and preparing before couple of weeks of exam schedule would suffice to acheive good grades, need to focused more on 1st sem spi since at the end cummilative is calculated so keeping good grades in from start would be helpful to be good in acads, regarding faculties, some of faculties are really good but at the end you need to self study through the refrence papers and books provided by the faculty

Yes, I recently got opportunity to get internship placed in research oriented firm general electric, the opportunities for internships are bit less when compared to placements and is same case in all the zonal iits .

Placements is one of the good things in the campus, the training and placement team really work very hardin inviting companies, almost every company which visits iit b,d, m visits iit bhu since its one of the oldest college in india and has good relationship with various comapnies from past several years

Per sem fee is 1,05,000/-, yes for financially low income like in the range 1-5 lacs the fees is bit subsidized, and for students having income below 1 lacs they have to pay around 5k, apart from this for the backward categories there are various scholarships which are floated. for mess it cost 12000 more, rent charges are included in semester fees.

Its really good, campus is something which will forever remain in our hearts, its one of the largest iit campus after iit kgp as far i know, campus is really happening through out the year & there are many hotspot where the friends meet and spend some good time after the classes are done, Regarding the clubs, there are many clubslike Aeromodelling Club,Astronomy Club, Club of Sustainability and Innovation,Club of Programmers, Robotics Club,Business Club, Society of Automotive Engineers and many through which you get to intreact with the seniors, with your collegeaus from differnet branches which helps you to build good network in the campus. Yeah, I have opted for hostel room, the facilty provided is really good, every hostel has good mess, common hall wherein you can play, work on projects in group etc, also amazing canteens which are open till 4 am in the morings, Overall for per sem mess fees is 12000, for canteen you need to pay as per your requirement. Registration for every candidates is automatically done by the college itself since rent is included in semester fees and its really negligible

Clear the jee mains cutoff, appear for jee advance, admission based on the jee advance score only. I gave the exam twice since I had taken a year drop so in year 2017 i scored total around 180 from paper 1 &2
