Remarks

When we went for the process the words of the founder late col. Balasubramaniam made me sure about the admission in this institute. His mantra of problems are opportunities made me choose this institute. Some of the other factors that I considered during my admission were Strict Curriculum, 100% Placement record, Events and Competitions held at the institute

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

We were shuffled within our classrooms every semester. We were a class of 60 students with a teacher teaching the subject. We had renowned people from the industry specialising in their field as our visiting faculties while had more than 100+ guest lecturers sharing their experience in the first year. We had a similar experience during our second year where the classes were held online. The college did focus on completing the curriculum as well as the teachers also motivated the students and tried to make the online classes engaging.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many of the internships offered were for a sales role. Companies like Whirlpool, OYO did visit the campus for offering internships as well as placements with a decent stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

Balaji has a record of 100% placement which it maintains. Our batch being the worst hit because of the pandemic but still our college has been able to get many of us placed in renowned companies. The salary offered to our batch was low than expectations but as said it is alot as many companies were focusing on laying off their employees but balaji was able to get their students placed. More than 100 companies visited our college even though the pandemic gave a rough time to the industry.

Campus Life

4.5

We had a DJ party at every month end which helped us release our stress over the month. We even celebrated days like friendships day which is hardly a part of the adult life. Balaji being a 365 day college ensured that they made us feel at home at every festival and celebrated in a grand way. Every occassion was celebrated with all the rituals from Ganesh Sathpana to Visarjan to Navratri and Dandiya nights. We had inter college competitions held twice a year and the fest in the month of December is for almost 30days and you see a very different spirit in the college at that time.

Placement Experience:

From 4 semester students become eligible for placement because in 2 semester we can select specialization till that we have common subjects. The college so far doesn't have any tie ups with MNC's . Majorly startups or small-scale organisations are offered to the students. And placement is also given in internship+ PPO basis with starting package of around 3-4 Lakhs

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

I had already completed my chartered accountancy course and wanted to add an additional degree to my qualifications.MBA graduate can avail many career opportunities as well in future. So I wanted to pursue it via distance learning. That is why I chose Symbiosis,it provided me flexibility to choose exam days and slots on my own so I never felt exam pressure and appeared for exams when I was thorough with my syllabus. This is what I love about Symbiosis.

My MBA program was one of the finest programs offered by our institute at such an economical price. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people. Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience.

The campus is good having basic facilities like free Wifi. The campus also has a canteen which serves food during all college hours starting from 8 in the morning. The college has a clean and green atmosphere. The crowd is also good. The college administration is supportive to the students. The chairperson herself organises a session with the students regularly.
