LIFE AT AMIRAJ

I applied to different other colleges like LD college of engineering, LJ College of engineering and Amiraj college of engineering. I've also visited different colleges but then I liked the infrastructure and environment of amiraj college of engineering and technology so i applied to it. I've taken admission through management quota in amiraj college of engineering and technology. The admission criteria weren't much but 10th and 12th passing marks were compulsory and JEE Main was compulsory for getting admission and I've passed both 10th and 12th with 72%, also I've taken the JEE and passed it with 21 marks so i got the admission easily. The admission process was very smooth and easy. We just had to submit the required documents and cheque for fees. We just had to go to college and then they show the whole college and we were allowed to visit the college so we can see the complete infrastructure, how were the classrooms, canteen, laboratories, faculties, etc. There wasn't any counseling day.

I've chosen the computer science and technology subject because i like to work on computers in development and I've always wanted to become a developer so that's why i chose this course. The faculties at the amiraj college were very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind to us. They were always ready to help us or to teach us in any situation whether it's about the study or some extra learning projects or something. All facilities were qualified with their high degrees and some were also qualified with Ph.D. too. Their teaching methods were very good and understandable for us. Term exams were every 6 months in every semester and they were also difficult to pass as they were trying us to be ready for the university's final exams. They always made sure that we can be ready for university exams and can learn everything that can be helpful not just for our exams but also in the future if we're going to do master's degree or something.

There was no internships with stipend offered by companies or college during job fair or placement process. Many projects were made by different students and outcomes of that projects were good and helpful for day to day life.

Frome semester six(6) students become eligible for campus placements and for applying for job at the college job fair or placement. so many companies visited for placements like mercedes benz, reliance, HR IT global, Balaji group, ITM group ICICI, kataria motors etc. Highest package offered by company was the 2.50lakhs per anum and average package offered by company was 1lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements were 90-95%. My plans after getting degree was to get a right job in the mobile application development.

The fees structure at Amiraj college was good and stable. The policy for the fees structure was just one that the fees will be same as the time you are joining the college as for four years. There will be no Change or no extra charges will be applied in fees. I've got no scholarship for anything from college. There was a job fair organised and companies giving job to the students but i got no job from campus as i didn't participated in the job fair or campus recruitment. Some classmates of mine got the job from campus and two or three of them also got internship with stipend from the campus recruitment.

Life at the campus was very good and friendly for us with the students or with the faculties too. The availability of books and journals in the library was very good as it was free for us to use and borrow from the library. We were allowed to borrow any book from the library and almost all books related to any courses they're teaching were available in the library also some extra books for the future exams and preparations like GUJCET or JEE were also available for students. We celebrated sports day every year and extracurricular activities for students in the first semester with the title of BRIDGE COURSE. The cultural fest celebrated by our college with the name of EVOKE - THE ANNUAL FEST and sports week with the name SPEED also DEXTRA - THE TECH FEST was celebrated too.
