I was selected through my AIEEE points and I was also Jammu and Kashmir that means out of state so I got admission on 49 points of AIEEE marks score .. My councelling was done in mumbai through Maharastra techinical board at Sardar patel college and i selected that college for Mechanical Engineering and I got admission for that

I applied for Mechanical Engineering because i was trying to do the toughest course and i loved that. There were 60 students for each stream and faculaty were very good .. teachers were m.tech and Phd and were good for teaching .. term exams were on January and july and the exams were toughest because of mumbai university syllabus

Every year some companies came for placement and if you were ready then you can get the job ..it depends on your inner performance .. In last semister that means 8th semister placement councelling is done in college.. Companies like TATA , JEO , Mahindra etc comes every year for placements.. Salaries offered are more than 30000 and almost 30 to 40 percent students were selected for the job every year through companies

Fee for engineering were 25k to 35k and the scholorships were given on state and centre basis.. Also for outside state candidates discount were given .. always i paid less amount than total fees due to Outside state Candidate and fee relaxation were given to minority candidates

Campus and hostel life is amazing there in the college .. Annual fest and tech fest is organised every year in the month of march and it is full of entertainment.. All types of books and generals are always available in the libarary and you can get them on 15 day basis .. Class rooms are in good condition even practical rooms are full of tools..

Hostel facilities are best than anywhere ..4 students are there in one room ..beds and chairs are given for your room.. in mess you can order anything and if you don't like mess there are 3 others for you.. Regestration process for hostel is easy ..pay fee and you will get your room.. There are also outside private rooms and PG is also available neqrby..
