Entrance Preview

I passed out my +2 boards exam with almost good marks. Then I prepared myself for sitting in engineering examinations. I got good ranking in UPTU examination. So, after counselling I got Babu Banarasi Das University.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Bachelor of technology is long 4 years course. College divided the 4 years in 8 semesters. Students have to clear 2 semesters per year. In the very first year of B.tech the syllabus is practised to recall the basic of class 11th and class 12th. From Second year the core engineering knowledge is provided with proper syllabus and study materials.

Internships Opportunities

No, Babu Banarasi Das do not provide internship. But college provide a placements cell in which students of final year can appear in the interviews for many different companies like Wipro, Hcl, Tata, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

College promises 100 percent placement but it is not true. No college or university can make students placed 100 percent. It is the caliber and smartness of the student. College call many companies in which students can appear for interviews. The placement is 70:30.

College Events

4.5

Yes apart from studies, college alumni have good environment for extra curricular activities for fun and learning. Fro the technical team the events are organised to have some knowledge from great researchers and engineers of the India. Robotics are the main eye catcher of all events. From a tiny robot to a giant devil robots, all are made by students for events under the guidance of teachers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In the economical term it is expensive. Sixty thousands per semester is fees of Bachelors of Technology. But when you see the other side that is the facilities and study it is well good because others colleges which are good are more high in fees. And if any student wants to take hostel facility then it is very costly and also the food quality is not very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes babu Banarasi das offer many internal scholarship exams and events in which students can get a good scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus is very big, green and clean. College is on main highway and on the main gate of college there is a big Ganesha's temple. Campus is around five hundreds acre. Eight different wings, one big ground. One auditorium, one basketball court, one tennis court, gymnastics, gym etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are just like elder brother and sister. They are very helpful in every aspects. They give us proper care and guidance to tackle college and engineering.

Exam Structure

Examination is divided in 8 semesters. Per year 2 semester. Each semester have three internal sessesionl examination and one main semester examination. Student have to necessarily appear in two sessionals and semester. Each exam is of hundred marks, total forty eight exams, one hundred and fifty assignments, eight projects.

Admission

After my counselling, I reached Lucknow to proceed further with admission formalities. There was a huge crowd of young students and parents. I also submitted my form and started waiting for my turn. Administration was so humble and happy to help type. I submitted fees and other documents and got my admission in College.

Faculty

4.5

If I talk about faculties and management, I am thankful to all my faculties who have their knowledge, time and blessings. They all are very helpful and always happy to help students. They are rich experienced in their subjects and also they produce a very different way of teaching so that students can involve themselves through out the class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution itself claims that the B.Tech programme is designed to “develop the technical skills of aspirants” and emphasises modern tools and technologies. Some students say particular specialisations (e.g., CSE with AI/ML) are particularly “industry-ready”. The curriculum covers foundational engineering courses (physics, mathematics, basic engineering) in the early years and then branch-specific specialisations later. That breadth is good. Some student reviews point out that while the curriculum is generally relevant, it may lag in keeping up with the latest technology trends. For example:

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So my course is btech CSE which I choose according to my interest. I have interest in computer and technology. The university curriculum is very good according to real world applications for students they try every possible aspects to give comfort and quality education to the students. The course curriculum is well prepared there is no need to change the course curriculum and the teaching method is also inporved day by day as they use active learning and wooclaps website for active learning and the classroom are also restructure according to new learning scenario. The timing of exam is based on the subject which is the exams are occur in two different shifts and the timing are also managed accordingly which is good. The difficulty level of exam are moderate and not very difficult if a student is active in classroom and practice questions then the exam is very easy for them.

students become eligible for the placement from 6th sem onwards but most students sit in 7th sem and more than 40% of students secure placement in their 8th, college doesn't claim 100% placement percentage but more than 70% get placed and the highest package is 32LPA from CSE brunch and he placed in cyber security based company, avg package to be 7-8LPA and medium 5-6LPA and lowest 2.75LPA which is offered but no student accepted it . around 300 companies made offers and the majority of them are services and consulting companies only a few product-based and cyber security companies made offers which all are above 13LPA, try to get placed asap , if u want to clear the gate and do MTECH in IITs but I don't think so job market is ready for it. only if you are in electronics then doing MTech or PhD will help
