Good college in coimbatore and it was one of the women's college. My parents wanted me to study in a women's college. So they chose it and admitted me.
Internships Opportunities
Yes my college provided internship only for the students of post doctorates or masters of philosophy. The stipend depends on hourly basis.
Placement Experience
Campus interviews will be conducted every 3 months once and many reputed companies are allowed. More than 50 students get selected in these campus interviews. They select by interviewing and by some rounds of examinations. These companies select students in our college every year.
College Events
We celebrate functions like onam, margali, christmas, ramzan, environment day, hostel day, tamil new year, new year and many more. We usually wear white kadhi saree on these special occasions. During our last convocation day wearing this saree.
Fees and Financial Aid
There were some scholarships only for those who doing M.phil and doctorates. There was no loan facility i guess because the semester fees were already too low and reasonable where anyone can pay easily.
Campus Life
Campus life was awesome as it was just the girls and i miss damn badly now. We were all girls so the gender ratio was 100:1 Boys were restricted in and also even the male workers and teachers were restricted too. Labs were fully equipped with all sophisticated instruments for learning, weekly once physical therapy was there. Competitions were also held in sports.
Alumni/Alumna
We have links with our alumni only through some social networks and also our college conduct a alumni day were we all were invited. Yes these sources seems to be more helpful to keep in touch with our old friends.
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted in other departments. The question paper consists of some mcqs, two mark question, five mark question and 15 mark question. Some subjects also need projects which has to be done other than this exam and some needs seminars to be taken and marks were given accordingly.
Admission
Through entrance examination and also with the twelfth public state exam marks they give us admission. The minimum percentage taken in twealth should be 65. Entrance exam minimum score was 55 out of 100. I made it on both the criterias.
