I have written both the entrances conducted by Amrita School of engineering and Amrita Arts and Science. I passed in both the exams in merit. There were no interview for Admission only the merit ranks are calculated.

Yes the courses all are very effective. The Amrita syllabus are very nice. I think the syllabus of BCA are far better than Engineering syllabus in other universities. All the faculty members are very supportive in studies.

Yes they provide many internships and workshops regularly, However i am unaware of the paid internships from outside companies .Last year so many students were selected for google summer of code. Every year they conduct student exchange programs and send students to international universities in USA,France etc.

Placement is good. Most of the students in our batch were placed in wipro, UST, Cognizant, Infosys etc. If you are willing to work hard and improve yourself the college will help you get placed even after you are pass out or has took long years to clear all the supplies. Students with difficulties in getting placed are trained by CIR (Corporate & Industrial Relations) department inside the campus.

Ammas birthday( Birthday of Sri Mata Amrita nanda Mayi) is the biggest event celebrated every year in the college,having more than 2000 external visitors. Which includes ministers and celebrities. Other events like independence day, World car free day etc are celebrated. Amrita has special events like Amrita Kalotsavam and An event name Vidyuth tech.

No loans are offered by the college. But in my knowledge some Asram. Students(Students from Mata AmritanandaMayi Asramam) are excluded from some of the fees structures. Scholarships are provided for Extra ordinary students in the University.

There are two types of exams 1 online exams, 2 Regular exams, Online exams are of two types multiple choice based and assignment/task based. Besides these they also conduct practical exams for lab based subjects.

I passed in both the exams conducted by Amrita Arts and Science and Amrita School of Engineering in merit. I scored 12000 in Amrita engineering entrance and 60 in Arts and Science. I choose BCA. There were no interview for Admission only the merit ranks are calculated.

All the faculty members are very supportive in studies. I think majority of the faculties have a well qualified profile. They have deep knowledge in their studies and they will stand along with the students for the betterment of their studies. Most of them are intrested in doing research projects.
