Entrance Preview

BVP has its own exam, which does not include chemistry part. I do not remember the score but i opted for the college because of its reviews in the northern india.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was overall good, if one studies well it would be pretty good since the campus recruitments are based on your percentage and extra curricular's also are a positive thing. Also the labs are equipped well, one has to be a keen learner though.

Internships Opportunities

We were first given an option if we want to select the companies on our own or be given a choice of internship from the uni. So the college also provides internship and one can do on its own too but there was NO stipend given to the students.

Placement Experience

The placements are good overall only for the ones who score 60% or above because most of the companies came with that criteria however if one has percentage less than that it becomes a bit difficult but still has chances of being placed. Average package was about 3.00 lacs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was feasible compared to the other colleges about 90000 per annum. Also children were allowed to pay partially and then pay the rest of fees post exams. So the fee structure was fine and also college was flexible with the students requiring help.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college provided various scholarships. I know some of people who availed the scholarship for student belonging to jammu and kashmir whose fees and rentals were included per annum and other scholarships were also available.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was good since we had frequent monthly tests then practicals and then the theory exams. Also attendance has about 10% weightage for the marks.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
