Remarks
I applied for IEHE and BSSS. The cut off for IEHE is different each year. After deciding the cut off for that particular year is decided, the approved students are called for counselling. There are 3 lists in total that are issued. If you don't get your name in any of the lists you can either apply for a payment seat or you can wait for vacancies in CLC round (college-level counselling). After this, you get the date for counselling and you have to visit campus for this. Here you will meet up your faculties. You have to carry all the required documents along. After the submission of all your documents, you've to pay the fees to complete the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I always pursue my career in the commerce field. And there couldn't be any better college than Iehe that offers BCom with honours. The faculty here is experienced and efficient. They provide good theoretical knowledge but lacking in practical aspects. Otherwise, the teachers are very supportive and provide valuable guidance. The time duration for exams was 3 hrs. In which they gave initial 20 mins for objective questions and the rest for subjective. The exams were neither very hard nor very easy. But yes proper attentiveness in the classes was required to pass them.
Internships Opportunities
Different internships were provided in the 2 years by companies like Momskart, Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon. But there weren't any active awareness about the internships. So limited students only applied for them.
Placement Experience
The placements in IEHE are very average. As only a few companies visit our college and the jobs mainly include sales and marketing, call centre jobs. The package is also very average. After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, ICICI Bank etc visited. The highest package was around 7 lakh and the lowest was around 3 lakh. A very few percentages of students got selected in the placements. I didn't apply for the placements as I wanted to pursue my masters from IPER.
Fees and Financial Aid
This college is very affordable. It cost 20000 per semester. And also scholarship named Medhavi is provided to the students based on their parent's income and 12th percentage. There were no such active campus programmes in the college. And also the placements here are very average.
Campus Life
An annual fest named Tarang was conducted every year in the month of February. Different cultural and academic activities were organised under this. Mostly all the books were available in the library. There were also good facilities for sports with all the sports equipment available. NSS, rotary Club, drama societies were very active.
Other Applied Colleges
