BCA entrance exam, ranked 1223. Chose BCA as I always had my interest in information technology, database management, software engineering, etc.

The course is a mix of technical and non technical subjects that imposed complete personal grooming in terms of informatic a and communicatives. It is a professional course that helps in the upbringing of an individual according to the corporate world further.

Our college was a platform for great opportunities. Companies like IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra came for campus recruitments giving us a stage to showcase our skills.

Our college was a complete package of studies and cultural events. Yearly fests including dance and singing performances, fresher parties, farewell parties, trips, local gatherings followed by dance and DJ sessions kept us alive all the way never making it monotonous.

Fee structure i wouldn't say was nominal. It was 75000 per annum which was not as per the infrastructure provided and the facilities given. There was no cafeteria which used to act as a big limitation as we had no choice of sitting and having lunch together in the college so we used to look for alternatives outside the college.

No loan was provided though scholarships were provided keeping the scores under consideration though i have never been lucky enough to have the advantage of the same.

Campus life goes without saying has been the best time of my life. Gender ratio was balanced and diverse giving us great exposure. Debates and extracurricular activities always kept us going and light. As the course included technical subjects, lab sessions were a part of each day.

Admission was on the basis of the rank. The exam included general aptitude, maths, verbal ability, logical reasoning etc. We were allotted our centre where we were supposed to give the exam and the result took around a couple of months. The choice of college was made as per my convenience of travel.

The faculties are beyond compare. They are friendly, they excel in their area and impart knowledge with great interest with a motive to make the listener understand in depth and detail. They were understanding and reaching out to them for queries was never an issue.
