Entrance Preview

I took KCET exam and got 17455 rank in the entrance exam. The opted this college as I like d it very much and liked to study here I opted CS as I like computer science very much and like to understand completely about it and become a good engineer.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provide internship but to 5th semester students. So we currently do not have any internship. So, we are waiting to get internship we can also independently do internships but due to heavy schedule we do not have time for it.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. There are lot of companies that are looming for good engineers to take so very big companies are taking recruitments. Infosys also comes sometimes and take good number of students. So lot of students are getting dream jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible for an meritorious student as the fees is only 25000 but the fess for management quota seats are very high at the cost of 170000 per annum. Though this is low compared to other colleges but is high compared to overall college standing.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships and loans for poor students but I am not taking any loans as I am an merit student and have CET quota which is very low admission cost and have applied for government scholarship . There is college scholarship also but only to seniors.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are not that much good the fees cost is very much high and the facilities are low. Food is not that much good and they are same for all month which makes it bored. The hostel fees is 90000 which is much as other college give lesser amount.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

The exam structure is as normal as the VTU norms which is the main governing body of the engineering colleges. The exam is of semester basis which is new for all of us.

Admission

I got admission in this college from KCET entrance exam and got admitted here the admission fees was 25000 only as I was a meritorious student. The admission process was very easy and fast and I have no head ache in it again so I like it very much this thing.

Faculty

The faculties of our college are very experienced talented and are highly experienced and also highly helpful. They are very supporting for us in any thing and help us to get good marks and university ranks. They are also very strict to bad students who misbehave.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
