You are just for placement purposes then definitely you should choose CS or IT cause almost all students get placed in those branches. The faculty is good. They clear your doubts and some may even encourage you. But don't totally depend on them. Most of the faculty have completed masters from an NIT college and can teach you clearly all the things you have in the syllabus but apart from the syllabus many of them can't teach. So I'll say that if you wanna collect more knowledge then they can't help you. Term exams are generally held 2 times every semester and if you just revise all the things 2-3 times then you will easily pass with great marks.

Getting a good internship may get hard. There are some programs in which you can pay and get Internships but they may not be of any value. Even if any company may visit for the internship but it's more likely that it's going to be for cs, IT students.

So after your third semester, you become eligible for campus placement, Campus start coming in starting of the 7th sem in June. Companies like Wipro, Amdocs, cognizant, Infosys etc come for campus recruitment. The average package is 3.6 lpa. The highest package is 19lpa by VMware. Almost 50% of students from all branches and 90-100% from computer science get placed. Some students opt for MTech, MBA or civil services after graduation.

There is no opportunity for the scholarship for the general category but SC/ST and OBC. Generally, an OBC candidate gets about 25000 in scholarship. You can view these scholarships on the mp scholarship portal. The fee is increased every year by about 10 percent. The hostel is only for the first year. The meal is below average(only Sunday special is average) for boys for girls its average. The hostel is inside campus only and daily needs shops are also present inside campus. Two students share a room in the boy's hostel and three in a room in the girl's hostel.

Srishti is the major tech fest arranged in the college. It is arranged every 2 years. Apart from that, cultural fest and festival celebrations keep going on. Books that you may need for college and for some competitive exams are available in the library. The library is enriched with a lot of study material. From newspapers to journals, magazines to 1000 pages books for every branch and specialization are available for students. The environment at the library is soothing and provide a great atmosphere for students to study. Classrooms are quite spacious with proper ventilation and sunlight. Sports and extracurricular activities are an integral part of the college. Cricket, football, softball, basketball are some of the appreciated sports here. Various Instagram pages, clubs like photography club, lnctradio, environment club, sports club, coding clubs are being managed by the students for their various interests too

The hostel is only for first year boys. Two students share a room in a boys hostel and three in a room in a girls hostel, western toilet attached with bathroom and balcony, meal quality is best. The hostel is inside campus only and daily needs shops are also present inside campus. The registration process is too smooth as you proceed for admission in college they suggest you by front and you can register for it there, it's affordable.
