Remarks

We were required to fill the form which required our 10th and 12th results, the cutoff for that year was around 65%, after a month of declaration of admission results we were invited to the Orientation programme of the college and after that, a window of 7 days was given for fee submission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it provided an Honours degree which very few Colleges in Ahmedabad provided those days. Faculty to student ratio was around 25 students per teacher. The exams were taken from time to time, even when COVID was very prevalent through an online medium. The paper was moderately difficult.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 34000 per year

Placement Experience

After 6th-semester exams get over a WhatsApp group is made for placements wherein details are sent by the faculty of the college. Certain companies like ICICI Prudential, Tradebulls, HDFC Bank, etc were providing placements. The highest package offered for around 6 lacs and the average package was around 2.5 lacs per annum. Around 25% of students got placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The 3 years were divided into 6 semesters and the fee was Rs 17000 per semester which included 16000 tution fees and 1000 exam fees. There were sessions organised every year for future opportunities and financial learning.

Campus Life

There were many inter-college and intra college completions organized in the college and the college has collaborated with many foreign universities to bring in courses like CIMA. The classrooms had Lights, Fans, Air conditioners and projectors and benches are comfortable as well. Extracurricular activities like dance, fashion events also the college sends students to foreign trips in Australia for educational purposes.

Placement Experience:

4/5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. In placement, they get many companies like all the insurance companies. He gets a placement with an insurance company in which they need around 10 students. Out of all the companies, the highest package he was given was 180000 for the whole year. I want to start a business after college.

The placement system for the masters course is good comparatively to other colleges of state.. And the bachelor courses the college are provide the company info.and also provide the campus placement.but it can't provide guarantee for all the students ..but in overall the placement system are good.

Everything about GLS

I have applied for various other colleges like Gujarat college, Xaviers college and many other colleges but the problem was that the time period the duration period of the course is 4 years and I choose this college because I have listened that the faculty is also very good and helpful and they also provide placements and also the time period of course is 3 year The admission process is so simple you just have to fill admission form which will cost you around rs 150.to 200 and then if your percentage is good they will call you for admission and a campus tour...Read More
