Remarks

Admission is based on merit and admission procedure prescribed by the admission committee of the college. The admission procedure is both online and as well as offline. For online you can apply through the college website. And for offline admission, you have to go to college. College is now known by the name Eklavya University. It is an engineering and management college. College is good for students of Damoh and nearby villages and towns. The curriculum of my course which is Bachelors of Civil Engineering is nice here. Colleg infrastructure is also new. Eklavya University has 12 schools under it and provides about 100 courses and combinations. They are now conducting online classes because of pandemics. For admission in this course, they also look for your JEE mains marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I want to be a civil engineer that is why I chose Bachelors of Civil Engineering. Engineering is something I am aiming for a very very long time. There are 40+ departments in the university. There are 47 teaching staff, 5 non - teaching staff and total 52 staff. There are a total of 322 students. Campus size is 15 acres and there are other staffs as well. Exams are semester wise and are easy. You just have to study. There are practicals which can be tough and difficult. Teachers are experienced and good in their subjects. Sometimes they are very strict but they are good at teaching. They can improve a little bit.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee for my course is 48000 per year. I think that fees are actually very high. Not everyone can afford it. There are scholarship programmes also. The government of Madhya Pradesh also provides scholarships. College helps financially struggling students but only to those who are good at studies. The college has a placement and training cell too. They conduct workshops, counselling and training sessions to prepare students for their professional life. They provide internships within the campus. The college conducts regular and summer campus drives too. Top recruiters are Airtel, IBM, eClinical works, Cvent, justdial, ITL, and Gammon - the builders. There are other minor recruiters too.

Campus Life

4

Gunj is the annual festival of Ojaswini Institute of Management and Engineering. College also organises annual sports events. Various students from Ojaswini college and other colleges also participate in all the fests. The infrastructure is really good and the surrounding area is also very beautiful and green. There various cultural clubs and societies and also organises and partci[pates in events and competitions. They have Instagram and Facebook pages too run by students and teachers.

Remarks:

The college is way too far from the main city that acts as a disadvantage for students who want to attend other classes for preparation of CAT or GATE considering the commute time. Also there are few outlets near the campus. It is still under construction.

There are some factors in which college is not good. They are like fines, study plans, not providing good facilities, not providing funds for organizing an event but some faculties are so good that they support you each time.

Remarks:

The college was good on the basis of education and faculty. Management which is involved in the finance department bit slow on their work as they will keep on prolonging the process for a month. And every time you go for semester fees paying they will always tell to bring all the previous documents. That is the only thing. otherwise, the college on the education front is good.
