Marshal's Review On Presidency College, Bangalore

A place worth spending time in. I wouldn't give any kind of negative remarks because as far as i was a student there i had really good time and presidency helped me in my growth.

I had given mat and scored 79 percentile, something attracted me so i opted presidency for my masters.

It was cool i liked and learnt a lot in fact i feel that i have grown a bit and moved further from where i stood every single lecture helped me in a way to nurture my career and knowledge the papers where worth studying because it was of my interest and i put in some effort to learn and understand stuffs which i never knew.

Well talking about internship the management took a lot of initiatives in encouraging internship at the end of odd semesters i did two internships which really helped me to know and understand what is it to work for a corporate at the end of each semester we had a viva and report submission the management assessed based on what we learnt in our internships.

Placements are good the placement department hunts for reputed firms and bring the for placement drives the average package starts from 2-2.5 l and the highest package was 12 l p.a. i had a very good experience going out for interviews infect i got placed in four firms and took up one among them the provide the students with enough and more training sessions which helps the students to perform better in the interviews.

Department fest, class events, cultural, sports day, all these events helped me to work under a team be creative and put in new ideas. These events were organized so the students learn something and bring out the best out of them apart from academics.

College fee was not that very expensive but what i felt was its worth paying . Apart from college fee we had to pay exam fee convocation fee and petty fees here and there. Over all it s worth spending so much because we are provided with more than what we actually spend.

The college provides scholarship for the students who secure good marks and the govt also helps students based on the cast. The students who study in presidency have fee concession while choosing presidency for their higher studies. The college also gives cash prizes for the students who secure university ranks

Campus environment was hi-fi a lot of students gender wise both male and female crowd was equal. We had wi-fi within the campus and the campus was surrounded with trees and the cafeteria was good too we get good and hygienic food in the canteen . We had pu ug and pg within the campus. Our college is known for extra curricular activities and in sports we are no.1 in karnataka state.

Hose facility was good not up to the mark but. I liked the accommodation but the food was kinda sick which i din really like. I had a peaceful time in the hostel the warden was kind of adjusting and helped me when ever i was in need. Even my hostel mates were good and helping in nature. On the whole i had a good time in my hostel.

I really had good fun with my senior people they were very helpful and they helped me in a way in my growth. They were wore like brothers and sister than seniors they render any kinda help when we seek them.

We have one mid term pre-finals and finals both mid and pre finals are counted for internal exams frequent tests and exams helped me to understand and do better in examinations portions for exams are given prior so that we can prepare ourselves better in the tests it helps to do better in the final examination.

Well post summer i had paid a visit to the institution were in i had to give a entrance aptitude test after which i had a counselling session by one of the faculty once when everything was done i was like yes.. i should be perusing my masters here that s how i ended up in presidency.

They weren't just faculties rather my guide and light i could say they gave their best to bring out the best lying within me they were supportive and very good counselors, they pushed me to reach better heights what ever they did it was all for my good and i am really really thankful for what they have been and what they have done for me in the course period hats of to my dear faculties.
