Remarks

Admission is availed through the IEMJEE exam and students are taken based on their ranks. The ques paper was moderate to tough on difficulty level. The Rank and 12th marks combined to determine the admission status.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is regularly updated to keep the students industry-ready. There is a 1:10 student-faculty ratio. The teaching staff is very well qualified and friendly and helps the students whenever needed.

Internships Opportunities

Several internships offer are provided through the college for various roles with sometimes letter of recommendation included and consideration for a future job with the company. Several projects are headed by the students and faculties jointly.

Placement Experience

Students can sit for placements from their 6th semester. In the last academic year on an average of 2 jobs were offered to each student with about 97% confirmed placement. The highest package offered was 72 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee structure is denominated into 3 parts- tuition fee, hostel fee, and mess (food) charges. The fees are very nominal all things considered. Students are provided scholarships based on their performance. Students from weaker economic backgrounds are provided the necessary help.

Campus Life

The college organizes the Annual Tech Fest and Cultural Fest in the Month of September - October. Students are encouraged to organize various events with help and guidance from the faculties. The libraries are well stocked and laboratories have state-of-the-art equipment.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels provide adequately furnished rooms with 24 hours Hi-speed wifi facility, water supply, cold drinking water, and electricity. Student communities decide on the food menu and they are regularly rotated so students do not get bored.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.
