Amazing experience with values.

It's completely good and it's awesome if you are a kind of spiritual person. College mainly concentrates on values and spirituality.

I have taken Karunya Entrance Examination and I scored 714 rank. Fortunately, I got my seat in Electronics and comunication group. I have opted to this college when my senior suggested me this and I got completely impressed with their food menu (4-5 times Non-veg in a week).

The course was good with limited number of subjects. At first, I thought there were more subjects but later I got habituated to the vast syllabus. As compared to your plus two, it will be bit small. I am not sure whether they are following the same curriculum till now and I heard that students got many more options to pick their own subjects.

As per my knowledge it's very limited and almost NO. There are very few and there are no regular companies which visit every year.

Placements are completely impressive from karunya. Most of the IT companies visit our college and take most of the people as per their requirements. Package will be from 3.2 to 8 Lakhs per annum and it varies from company to company. There will be also some core companies like KPIT visiting our college.

Events are very rare in our college except some spiritual and sports events. There won't be any dance competitions or cultural programmes and don't expect anything from this university. You will get lot of fun but not from those events and you will really miss those events.

Fee structure is not very expensive and it's not like looting the money in the name of education. It's affordable and less compared to other deemed universities. it's feasible and not expensive. If you feel it's expensive then you can avail loan from banks.

There are scholarships for sports students and few banks will also be there to provide educational loans with less interest rate. I think HDFC provides an educational loan for the students.

Gender ratios are completely negligible except in separate hostels :P and extra circular activities are very rare as it's a missionary college. Politics and economic status are not part of karunya and I haven't seen any kind of disputes on that matter.

Hostel rooms will be of 4 sharing and single sharing. You can choose as per your interest and single sharing costs bit more. Everyone has to stay in hostels and no need to inquire abut Pg's. All facilities including hot water are provided in hostels. You have to carry your own mattress and pillow.

Alumni are completely cooperative and few of our alumni will visit our campus and conduct campus placements on behalf of their company. It's good to meet all our alumni and have fun with them.

Exams are not very frequent and just 3 internal exams per semester and one external exam. It's not like daily exams model but there will be exams but not frequently. Lab exams are good and only one internal and one external exam. You can clear most of the exams easily with little hard work.

Admission process was short and simple. They will just send you the call letter for choosing the course and after you enter the college, they will call in a rank wise. Just wait for your turn and pick one from the available courses displayed on the screen.

Faculty was pretty good and most of them will be more cooperative to students. As the college is completely residential, few of our faculty will be available in hostel itself. There will be many faculties for same subject and you can reach out to any one and clear your doubts.
