Remarks

My reason for choosing this particular college was that the faculty this college had was among the best. All the faculty members were well known and super qualitied in their respective subject. I knew some of the senior of this college and they told me to do my further studies from here because of the sole reason i.e faculty. Along with that this university was ranked 51% by the outlook in 2016. And then I started by preparation of CAT, in which one of my friend who was the senior helped me prepare. It was a online exam of total 300 marks divided into three section.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Completing my MBA from this university was the best decision I ever took. Along with it was economical, the faculty was one of the top and fantastic. Every teacher was so supportive and gave us quality teaching experience. Our college did not took more than 80 students in the batch and teachers divided the class into groups of ten students so that they can force on the students more effectively. They even used different methods and techniques to help us understand the subject matter.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many comapnies also visited our college and gave us an opportunity to do internship in their company. I think almost all the students got the internship through our college. Some companies even offered permanent jobs if we did good in our internship. I got my internship at ICICI Bank and they offered me 20k per month. It allowed me to explore my options and give me clear picture.

Placement Experience

5

Placements were nice and it completely made justice. Many recruiting companies trusted our college and tied up with our college for the placements. The college made us interview ready before the placement started so it helped us prepare more effectively. Top noted companies like Google, Amazon, JB Morgan etc were there for the placements and was quite satisfied. But all the new companies were there for the recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of our university was like divided into four installment. At every installment we had to pay according to our course type. At that time I had paid around 60k per semester along with other additional fees. And for the scholarship aspect, yes our college had some options for the students based on their merits only. And the concession amount was deducted from the tuition fees only. Though I did not go for any concession myself.

Campus Life

5

WiFi was available all round the campus with high speed. The campus was a good place to hangout and spend a good time. The canteens were the decent and the food was pocket friendly. The college gave us the facility of good and effective library, auditorium, good washrooms at all the floors. Variety of events and seminars were conducted which gave the students to come out of their zone and develop their personality.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel that were given to us were nice and efficient. We were provided single bed rooms with all the necessary equipment like cupboard, study table, etc. Our rooms had a personal washrooms so it was nice. The mess food in our college was better than lot of another colleges. The staff were so helpful and took good care of us. Idli chutney and dosa was my most favourite from our mess food which I still miss.

Admission

Basically yes, I passed my CAT with 50% and a bachelor's degree from a recognized university was the only criteria which was needed for me to secure the seats. After that they posted the merit list of all the people who were available to get the seat. They posted two merit list and I could get in my second merit list with the total of 240 out of 300.

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho, apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year itself a student become eligible for campus placements and some of seniors got ino flipkart like companies. So the college is good at placement. In any colleges, due to college the student can't only be placed, their skills, talents, communication is more important to get placed so based their knowledge the students get placed. only thing college need to do is getting good companies with package and our college also provide it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

me being a law student expected a lot of practical and theoretical examples to be presented in front of the students when I first joined in, but the reality was far less than what I expected. The professor is mostly came in read. Whatever the book said and left, gave us few assignments and group projects to be completed without any particular information from their side. We had to sit and do research on our own without any input, and then we'll go summit down the assignments or projects or whatever task was appointed to us, and then we'll have a viva through our work and that's pretty much it . The new professors who joined in by our third year, were very practical, made us understand a lot of things which the previous professor didn't. They answered a questions. They were more relevant to us because they could understand that some topics were forced on us and supposed to be taught, maybe twice or thrice just to make us more comfortable or just to make us more smarter in that area by understanding it in depth . law is one of the most interesting and difficult courses out there, but then if you have the right professor is leading you to it, you would learn easily and more efficiently. in my area of study, practical work was not very much included other than participating in mood court. It was all theory based which is not very important in a way because when you finish your course and get into the real world when you go to your corporate world or litigation side, you need practical experience and you need to understand how to do work and not just learn the sections or the theory part so something that they could have improved was rather than giving us assignments or group projects they could have made us understand and giving us real life situations or give given us more practical practice so that it would be easy for us to understand what litigation is and how we are supposed to do it.

I took MCA to get placed into IT companies . The subjects in the MCA is very interesting but the students who studied UG course and then the pg course also in the same college then it is totally waste because they are studying the same subject again. Very bad thing is that in this college they are providing the same subjects and same syllabus for UG and PG students there is nothing different. But i have studies ug in other clg so for me it is different so i managed and it is interesting
