Entrance Preview

Admission is based on 12th std Scores, with average cut off of 80% for BMS. While much lesser for BCOM. BMS is well diversified course giving much broader knowledge regarding various subjects when compared to any other courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Structure is well designed to give a overall knowledge and glimpse of corporate requirements, with compulsory research project. And options of electives in field of Finance, Marketing and HR. Along with compulsory subjects which are of similar and diverse fields.

Internships Opportunities

There is lack of support from management in means to provide internships. You have to look out on your own to find any opportunity. The only means that College help is by displaying internship opportunity on notice board where we need to proceed on our own. Though Faculties are very helpful in passing the vacancies, their is no formal assistance provided by college.

Placement Experience

2.5

College organises a few placement interviews for companies like TCS, ICICI etc. but mainly small scale startups with average salary of around 15 K p.m. There is a need for management to get more concerned about placements as there is no kind of initiative from college to provide help in placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Courses like B.com is aided by the university. So the fees is around 5k , while Courses like BMS, BBA, BFM etc are unaided so fees goes around 15-20 k annually which is still affordable and required to maintain and deliver the quality which is essential for optimum learning.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, college provides scholarships through Mumbai university to deserving candidates, based on income statements etc.

Exam Structure

Structure of exams are same as Mumbai university. which may vary from year to year. In general some part of marks are reserved for written assignments and presentation and remaining for end term evaluation. Mumbai university does not encourage practical evaluations which makes it restrictive for colleges to stick to theoretical assessments.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are much more accessible as compared to other colleges of Mumbai university, with interactive teaching skills. Although you cannot compare the faculties with private universities. There are shortage of faculties in the college for certain courses which sometimes affect the schedule a lot.

Remarks:

The college is not good, no personality development, no extracurricular resources, etc. However, the academics was excellent. The college gives a vintage look, considering the walls with stone arrangement gives the place a nice antique look. However the overall experience is bad. No fun, no curriculum activities with potential, etc.
