Remarks

I applied to many colleges but in all those, I found this the best and futuristic. No, I didn't avail of any quota for admission. I gave the university's exam for BTech that is bvu cet in that I got decent grades and then I choose for my branch that is electronics and telecommunications age criteria was 2001 born in 2020-21 academic year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose electronics and telecommunications because I had an interest in them and I wanted to pursue my career in this field. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50 Teachers are well educated and they give their 150% in teaching and are always available for doubts of students. Exams were a bit late due to pandemics and the difficulty level was moderate to high.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Haven't applied to any internships so have no idea about internships. Haven't been to any projects and outcomes will be exploring them in the future. I'll be exploring more about internships and then let everyone know through this platform.

Placement Experience

I've to find out about placement procedure and process as I've time in passing out from college. Have no knowledge about companies visiting and offers made by them. Packages are quite good making 7 lac per annum as an average. The percentage as they mention is 93% get placed. I'll pursue my studies after my BTech course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very much affordable with 1 lac 20 thousand per annum and no idea about the cost of studies as due to pandemic haven't been there till now. No idea about scholarship and anything as I'm still a student of 1st year and will be exploring it.

Campus Life

No idea about the annual fest and tech fest and when are they conducted since I'm in my 1st year. Haven't been to campus still so no idea about amenities, sports, extracurricular activities. Social groups are there on apps and students do get along quite well as expected.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
