Remarks

I applied several college such as Saboo Siddik, Father angnel, etc but I choose this college as it has a very friendly environment. There are quotas available but I am from general. Admission in this institute basically requires a CET score or JEE. Both online and offline facilities are available for admission. Minimum CET marks required is 50+ to avail admission and JEE scores are also considered and Age should be 17+.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had a very keen interest in this course. There is a quite decent faculty available for every subject. Most of the faculty are Post Graduates in their respective fields. There are basically two tests and one end-semester exam truly based on the syllabus. It is not that hard to pass if given proper attention to the lectures.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many internship programs are offered for various braches are offered. The internship at Royal Enfield was offered for 1 month. Government railways internship and many such more are available which gives clear all concepts and technologies used.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the third year of engineering, the students become eligible for placements. Just dial, Reliance jio, Red hat and many more companies offers placement in college. More the 50% students gets placed. My plans are to do post graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this course is 85000 which includes Tuition fees, department fees, and others fees. However, there are several minority concessions as well such as OBC, SC, ST, and others. A scholarship is also provided.

Campus Life

4

The campus is spread across a large area and with a very decent infrastructure. Every year there is a college fest named Bonhomie and Fuerza which is conducted at the end of January. College also has a Central Library with easy availability of all required books. Classroom has enough space to fit in 60 students or more with proper seating arrangement. Every second month there is one and another activity happening in college.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
