Course Curriculum Overview

4

Mumbai university is trying their best to improve the curriculum but there are alot of theory subjects and less practical knowlegde subjects .but subjects like dsa are very important .usually the sem is of 6 months which is more than enough to study

Placement Experience

3

I guess from starting of 4th year the students become eligible for the placement though not many company came for placement for the hear 2023 as there was recession in the market the hiring was freezed only 2 to 3 company came to hire so the student must prepare themselves for offcampus opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

84000 is yearly fee structure for the course including tuition fees registration fees development fees and for the tfws the tuitions fees will be reduced by the government but for normal general category student 84000 is the fees.

Campus Life

4

Festival like bonhomie happens in february and many more . There sre also sport events .programmerz club is also there for tech people they focus on building tech related projects also googles developers club and many more to make student develop their skills even further also hackthons are being organized by college for the students

Admission

I had applied for saboo siddik college but as i got less marks in mhtcet i went for this college the criteria for this college is around 70 to 100 marks in mhtcet to qualify for cse branch also this college is minority for muslim so minority students gets the benefit

Faculty

4

Faculties are good they interact with the students also there mentor mentee meeting between student and faculty to discuss the problem the student faces . Course curriculum is not upto the mark but it is important

Night Life

4

Hostel is kind of away from the college like its far ,public areas are very good there are greenry around the college library is also big for the students but there is no gym in college but cafeteria is there in campus and there is tree sitting area

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
