I've applied to 4 other colleges but I chose Gautam buddha university because of its reviews and faculty qualifications. I've availed caste-based quota but the admission was based on a merit basis you have to avail a minimum of 54 percent marks in your higher classes (which us very easy to get ).
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I had an interest in it. Plus after talking to facilities I've decided this. The student faculties ratio is very good in GBU in every batch the strength will not exceed 50 students so that teachers can spend time on each student. Every semester there are two majors (half-yearly and end semester exams ) and e minor which include project assignments and class tests viva are performed for examination purposes.
Placement Experience
Placements are good, if you're an A-grade student then you will get a good placement but the college itself will not provide 100 percent placement you have to study well to get a good placement. Companies like Oyo, Akash, lido leaning bicano, Wipro, Yes bank visits the campus. The average package of the management department from last year is 6 to 7 lakhs per annum and the highest is 9 lakhs per annum. The placement salary is not so statistical but you can get your core company in each field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure isn't that good because they are increasing fees every year, the education or tuition fee is fixed but the hostel and mess charges are not fixed. The college only provides education-based scholarships of 20000 Rs for every student of each batch who tops in his her class. Also, there is one government scholarship for up resident students but it is not provided by college students who have to apply for it personally.
Campus Life
Abhivyanjana is the annual fest and many other fests like Shauryautsav performed it's like almost 10 fests have been performed per year. All types of course-related books and journals are present in the library plus extra books types literature is also present. The sports quality of the university is 10 out of 10 you got 10 different grounds that are huge. Students can join many clubs and societies like NCC NSS placement drive dance Nukkad Natak social group as their extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good as per the staff and room. You get appropriate goods for your room and you have to bring your own mattress and they charge extra if you want to install ac or cooler like 2400 Rs for 6 months and also there is no wifi they provide you LAN connection in the whole university you can connect anywhere. I personally don't like mess food which is understandable because they make food in large quantities so according to me mess charges are high as compare to quality.
