Remarks

I got Admission to the college on the basis of UPSSE counseling. I ranked 35000 in the state and got this college in the councelling. There is a cutoff of a minimum of 55% marks are required in Physics, Chemistry, And Maths individually. Although the management also has some reserved seats for direct admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum are good. There is a 1:25 faculty: student ratio which is quite good. And also the teachers are very supportive highly qualified as they are always ready to clear our doubts. The exams are held twice a year.

Internships Opportunities

The companies visited for the internship opportunites are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra. They hire students for internships in their 3rd year. They make them work on their projects to make them learn the work of a company on the ground level.

Placement Experience

The placements are held for the final year students. The college provides internship opportunites to 2nd and 3rd year students. The companies visited are TCS and Wipro. The average package goes upto 4-5 lacs . Around 45% of the total students are placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is average that even middle class famliy student can afford. And also the college provides scholarships to mertorious students. Apart from this the college also have a facilty to assisst financily to poor students.

Campus Life

The campus life is too good. The college organizes various cultural and annual fests. There is a library from which students can issue books of their choice. The college also organizes various sports events for the students. There are many socities and clubs in the college for the specific branch students.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
