Remarks

I had applied for many institutes but didn't got admit because of my low rank. It was an online counseling process in which students have been allotted colleges according to their rank in the UPSEE exam. I got admission to the Meerut institute of engineering and technology in computer science. The minimum mark required for admission is 70%.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I have a great interest in software and technology. In our college, faculties are highly qualified and teaching method is good but they need to improve that a little bit. There is about a 1:50 faculty-student ratio. Exams are held every week and it is easy to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provides scholarships to meritorious students who perform well in academics and special aid to those who are from humble backgrounds plus if you participate in cultural fests and perform well there special facilities are also available like a free gymnasium facility and more.

Campus Life

The Annual fest name is KOLAHAL which is conducted every year in the month of February. Talking about books and library facilities, the college provides many advanced books for relevant courses which are good to study. College also provides opportunities to participate in different cultural fests and curricular activities like AROH a singing activity and more debate activities.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are average and the students get decent packages. Students are eligible for the placements from the very beginning from the 7th semester. The companies visiting hbtu are samsung, exxonMobil, TCS, FMCG, IBM, Hindustan Unilever, Global Logic, Adobe, Paytm, HCL technologies, Nestle, Asian Paints, Britannia and Dabur etc. The highest placement was 32 lpa while the average was 7 lpa last year . Last year almost 75% of the students were placed. My plans are to take a good placement from the college and side by side i'm working on my startup idea as well .

Placement Experience:

Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college. Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa. 99% students get placements. Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

the college is good and affordable fees for all

the placement of college is good because mid of 7th semester company visit in a campus and many comapnies are come in college like maruti suzuki, TATA, HERO motors,schlumberger ,crompton,tricolite ,cummins ,etc 40-50 company visit in campus and the heighest package is 12lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and the student have 60% in average of all 6 semester and 90% student have placed after the degree my plan is a good rank in GATE and masters from IIT colleges
