Once the result of bvpcet is out. You have to choose from the different branches present in the college. Then you are alloted a branch. And if you want to take admission in that branch, after paying the fees and submitting the document your admission is confirmed.

Course Curriculum Overview

I loved electronics from before so I choose this branch. The faculty is very well most of the teachers have done their phd in particular fields. Due to covid, exams were delayed. The paper is easy if you study.

Internships Opportunities

Pune being an IT hub provides various internship chances. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Amazon .. etc give chances for internships. And students are eligible for intership from the first year. We are already registered on Internshala by our college.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like, IBM, Idea, Infosys, tata motors, hp, Nokia, etc come for placement. 90% of students are getting placed on campus. My plan after getting a degree is to crack gate and go for higher studies (mtech).

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for electronics and telecommunication engineering are 1.20 lakhs which i think i affordable for my family . I am currently studying in first year of college so i don't go any job. But as per my seniors on campus placements are good.

Campus Life

The annual fest of BVP is "bharatiyam". books and journals are available in the library, due to covid the provide us online library. There are various branch-wise competitions. There are various clubs Sports club Drama club Literacy council Dance club

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
