Remarks

I had applied for PIET also but then I gave the exam for BVP and I got the rank and the call came for admission. The admission criteria were simple that the entrance exam rank should be in 5000 students. The age was 12th pass. There was counselling in which I was told which field was open to me according to my rank. You have to submit the fees on the day of the counselling itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

My university got recognised by the MHRD in the top 3 colleges of Maharashtra so the name of the university boomed. And so I took the admission. The faculty student ratio is amazing as the teachers are very supportive. All the teachers are highly qualified. They are M Tech and P.H.D. . No B. Tech pass is employed as teachers. In one semester there are 3 exams. Two internals and an external. You can clear the exams but taking lectures thoroughly.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are internships provided by the college but they depend on the skills and talent of the student and the same goes for the stipend. The internship is done by the students in companies like Zensar Technologies. You are eligible to go for the internship from the 6th semester officially.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester. The companies visited are Infosys, Capgemini, Toshiba, Sibage, etc. The highest package is 6.5 lakh per anum. The percentage of students getting placement is 80%. I am now successfully placed and got the job in Capgemini.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is hiking. The fees used to increase Rs .10,000 every year. There are different types of scholarship based on exams. I got the Job from the University only and the annual package is Rs. 4 lakh.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Bhartiyam and it is conducted in March. Neha Kakkar came on the celebrity night once. The biker show is conducted in this fest every year on the campus road. There are many books and journals available in the library. There is also a reading room which is very huge. There are projectors in the university. There are sports activities like basketball and cricket. There are many clubs and even each department has its own club. There are clubs like rotaract and leo.

Hostel Facilities

There are many facilities in room including dressing table. There is study table and a soft board. Accommodation of AC rooms also available. kitchen facility on every floor. You can select you hostel during counseling if you want to avail hostel facility.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
