Remarks

To get admission to this college one has to give CMAT examination. In that exam, one must score 93+ percentiles. The reason for this high score is its fewer fees and high teaching standards. Then one has to through ACPC shortlisting process. There is no GD-PI round. The best reason to get into this college is its locality is in one of the best-developed areas of Ahmedabad and its Return on investment.

Course Curriculum Overview

The MBA course is running since 1976 and has achieved many milestones. The faculties here are the best-experienced ones and doing their best with the latest use of technologies. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. The faculties discuss the latest topics and case studies in the class to bring those topics in aware of the class. GD's, presentations, debate etc are also held in the class and evaluation is done. Exams are taken twice in the semester.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placements after the 2nd-semester examinations. As Ahmedabad is a big city many startups are there which come with many beautiful placement opportunities. Many big companies like Vivo, Outlook magazines, ICICI Bank, Times of India, HDFC Ltd, Dainik Bhaskar, Hari Chemicals etc come for placement drive. The average package is 7 lacs and the highest goes upto 12 lacs. Around 87% student was selected in campus placements and 9% students opted to be an entrepreneur.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees hike is not seen in the past 5 years. Also as it is a fully government aided course in our college, the fees are very less and there is no need for financial assistance or scholarships. One can easily pay the fees and can afford other costs.

Campus Life

The campus life is one of the best thing f this beautiful college. The trees on the whole campus make a very peaceful and calmful atmosphere. Many fests do take place on the campus and we also celebrate most of the festivals at the campus. Classrooms are neat and clean and also have projectors in every room. Club activities are also done. There are clubs for drama, dance, photography, social work, marketing, hr, operations etc.

Internship experience and review

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The placements procedure has not yet started. 6 lakh is the highest package and 4.5 lakh is the average package. Mostly the profiles offered are marketing only. 10-15% of students are getting placements. My future plans after getting the degree are to get exposed to the corporate world.

Placement Experience:

Companies start visiting the campus for the recruitment process during the third semester as students are eligible from after the mid-semester of 3rd semester. Lots of companies for the campus recruitments. Some of them are ICICI Bank, KYB Comment, HDFC Ltd., TCS, etc. The highest package was Rs 10.2 lacs by Federal Bank. It is offered to 5 students of finance background. The average package is Rs 5.5 lacs. 83% of students get placed and others remaining would have opted not to go for the process because of their family business or their will to become entrepreneurs.

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best across India. It is only one of the 5 to get audited and officially published. There are two placement procedures that a student goes through. The summer internship is mandatory as per the course, which is supposed to happen between the two years. The placement of the same happens around Nov-Dec in 3 clusters, which is decided as per the batch. Then the Final Placement happens in Second Year, around Feb in a similar fashion. College with nice campus Life

Admission:

Admissions are granted on the basis of merit in the CMAT exam. My CMAT score was pretty decent, but still, I have to wait for the second round of counselings. After that, I appeared for the interview round and Group discussion, which was pretty easy for me as I was practicing for the interview round and giving mock interviews.

One of Gujarat's top college for MBA
