Internship Opportunities provided by BVIMR

I applied to many colleges and converted a few but did not get the choice of course as I wanted to go in core management course so therefore applied in this college. I did not avail any quota as I am a general. The admission criteria of BVIMR is a graduate or masters degree from any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate and (45% in cae of SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university or who is in the final year of their graduation or masters and who is an Indian National. Along with all these conditions, a student must clear the BMAT exam which is the all India entrance test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. Group Discussion and Personal Interview was a part of the admission criteria but for us, it was not conducted. The admission process of the university was pretty smooth as everything was online. They gave enough number of says to us to submit the original documents as due to the pandemic the students were facing problems in arranging the same.

I chose to do MBA as I did Bachelors in Commerce and the next best alternative for me was to do masters in the same field as it will give me enough good opportunities and specialisation in the marketing field which I always wanted to pursue and eventually it will give me an edge over other candidates in my future career. Most of the teachers are PHD scholars and have good experience and knowledge through teaching style of every teacher differs from one another. There is a total of 3 CES, 2 internals and 1 external for each subject.

Companies like Bajaj finance, ABC Ltd., Capital Box etc. comes to our college to recruit the students for at least two months of the summer training programme which is compulsory for all the students. Projects according to the specialisations and job profiles are assigned and then the mentors give feedback at the time of completion of the summer training programme.

Students for MBA have to do a compulsory internship at the starting of the second year which the CRC team of the college provide us with various companies and job profiles and the stipend mostly depends on the basis of your performance and achieving the targets. And it also assists students for the final placements and decent companies approach the college with good packages. My plans after getting my masters degree to work in a good and reputed company so that I can utilize my skills and expand my horizon of knowledge.

Fees are quite decent if compared to other colleges, i.e. 6,50,000 for two years excluding examination fees which we have to submit at the time of the examinations itself. There is a CRC team for our college that brings us numerous jobs and internships opportunities on campus with different types of profiles such as marketing, finance, human resource management, etc. and the student can select the company according to his/her preference and the stipend mostly depends on performance based.

Multiple fests and functions are conducted in the university every year. Books and journals are made available in the library for our assistance. Amenities such as air conditioner and smart classrooms are available. There is a huge football ground and various sports related events are conducted every year, Social group such as ED Mantics for entrepreneurship cell, Netlinx for digital marketing society and others societies for art and craft, music, drama, etc. are present in the college which is all student driven.
