Remarks

My admission was done by a proper counseling by tamilnadu government,I had OBC quota and scored 539 in NEET test .the counseling was based on merit list and I had set of colleges according to my NEET score and I chose Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan medical College as it was the best in infrastructure comparing optiy I had.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose MBBS course as I had a dream of serving people and to proy free treatment for poor.the girls to boys students ratio in my college is 2:1,the faculty teaching here as doctors who have minimum qualification of mbbs or md

Internships Opportunities

4

As this is medical college there is hardly scope for internship and companies to come.so no companies come to medical Colleges usually, but we receive stipend in last year from college itself it is the practicing period called CRRI

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is slightly higher for merit-based Candidates,6.5 lakhs per year it is a lump of some of the money for merit students as they end up here after putting in a lot of effort. The scholarship assistance is good here

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is conducted here every year in a grand manner, celebrities attend it as a chief guest gives good exposure to students. Extracurricular activities and sports are not bad here,it has decent sports equipment and ECA facilities.it has several students group for many medical services like blood donation.. so on

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready

With an SC category NEET score of 279, it is difficult to secure an MBBS seat at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College & Hospital, Perambalur, through normal Tamil Nadu NEET counselling. In 2025 state counselling, the closing rank for SC MBBS seats at this college was around 14,337–14,584, corresponding to an approximate NEET score of 380–430.
