Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose MBBS course as I had a dream of serving people and to proy free treatment for poor.the girls to boys students ratio in my college is 2:1,the faculty teaching here as doctors who have minimum qualification of mbbs or md

Internships Opportunities

4

As this is medical college there is hardly scope for internship and companies to come.so no companies come to medical Colleges usually, but we receive stipend in last year from college itself it is the practicing period called CRRI

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is slightly higher for merit-based Candidates,6.5 lakhs per year it is a lump of some of the money for merit students as they end up here after putting in a lot of effort. The scholarship assistance is good here

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is conducted here every year in a grand manner, celebrities attend it as a chief guest gives good exposure to students. Extracurricular activities and sports are not bad here,it has decent sports equipment and ECA facilities.it has several students group for many medical services like blood donation.. so on

PSG imsr is my alumini institution my Alma matter where I have learnt to shape up my life into a better human. I thank the college for shaping me up on a holistic approach rather than just acadamics. The institution is strict on its rules which I personally feel are necessary for a successful life. the institution also has and uniform for the students which helps us build up our character that all humans are uniform. the management of the institution is exceptional in maintaining the quality and standards which has been maintaining from its year of inception in 1984.

Speaking about positive remarks the teaching is very good, faculties are the best, the college campus is away from the city rush. I am talking about the negative remarks the hospital is about three kilometres from the college, the food is just average, the place don't have any major attractions, lack of greenery.

The college is very old and has been established in the 1950's. The atmosphere is very good for promoting studies. Since it is located near to the town all the essentials can be easily bought without much wandering. The Hospital is also situated very near to the college which makes it easy to go there too.

With an SC category NEET score of 279, it is difficult to secure an MBBS seat at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College & Hospital, Perambalur, through normal Tamil Nadu NEET counselling. In 2025 state counselling, the closing rank for SC MBBS seats at this college was around 14,337–14,584, corresponding to an approximate NEET score of 380–430.
