Actually, I got a seat at VISVESVARAYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (VNIT) NAGPUR, MAHARASHTRA. Due to various reasons, I left the NIT. Later I joined SJC INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY The eligibility criteria for admission is one must have passed PU with an aggregate of 45%. My admission process is quite simple that there is a vacant seat in ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION, I have the eligibility, got an admission, there is no need to worry about the admission

It's my personal interest to pursue communication, I opted EC department. When it comes to the faculty, some are experienced and they will make the student grasp as much knowledge as possible from them. Some are freshers to teaching so we are likely to face some difficulty to understand from them. Another thing is term exams, there are 3 term exams with a month gap between them. Even the difficulty level term exams are hard, by doing one-night study one can pass the exam but one can't score the appreciable result.

From the 7th sem onwards one can be eligible for campus placement, more companies visit the college and recruits. The average package is 3.5L and the highest package is 8L. 8/10 are placed in companies with capable profiles. My plan after the B.E is to be placed in a company. I'm even preparing for OSCP in the mid of my second year.

The fee varies from Karnataka students and non-Karnataka students, for non-Karnataka students The tuition fees range between 140000-180000 depending upon the department you opt for. For Karnataka students, it's lesser The hostel fee is 60k. The scholarship is for Karnataka students only

Every year in even semester we have a fest, it's likely to be conducted in the month of May or June. When it comes to books and journals we have a library and even we have a digital library too. We have sports every year in even semester its the competition between the branches

In the hostel, each room consists of 3 students. Individual cost and study table are provided. It's a peaceful area we have so much freedom in the hostel. The quality of the meals is very good, the only thing is about the taste. Sometimes it is tasty sometimes it is nasty. We have to adjust. We have so many hotels near to hostel whenever you are not comfortable with hostel food you can go there.

One 7th semester onwards one can attend the campus placements. The thing which makes the students join this college is it has better the placement rating, most of the people placed in MNC's like Wipro,,TCS etc One can attend the campus placement with a minimum aggregate average of 60%
