Remarks

The college conducts the exam itself also they prefer JEE score or rank for admission. There is a Quito system. They have limited seats so they prefer a come first serve system. If the student got a good mark in 12th then the possibility of admission is more. Although there are not any specific criteria for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I choose was Agricultural Engineering. Well, the course is really good but job opportunities are fewer. Rarely Odisha government conducts exam for this if conducts then also very limited seats. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. Generally, the qualification of faculty is MTech or PhD graduates. Exams were conducted timely and clearing exam is medium-hard.

Internships Opportunities

For internship, students have to take lead. They have to do research work and take permission for internships. Every 8th sem student has to submit their project thesis work. The internship is allocated for the 7th semester.

Placement Experience

Only 7 and 8 semesters students are allowed for campus placement. The placement is not so good. General local companies or NGO placement comes. That too salary of around 20-30k. They took their 1st-month salary after joining.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fees are 100000 per year. One can give in instalments. No problem with that. But if a student can't do so then they won't allow writing in exam. Scholarship like Perana Medhabruti is there. If a student belongs to SC ST then there is a huge scholarship around 70000 and in general it around 10000.

Campus Life

Once a year annual function is conducting and operated by the student. There are different extracurricular clubs like music club dance club communication club painting club where students can show or learn different skills. 24 hours library faculty is there.

Hostel Facilities

For different year student, the different hostel will be allocated. Hostel fee was 50000 and if brake fast adds then it will be 5000 extra per year. Hostel Registration will be on the same day as college registration. Outside rent and pg available at a 7-10 km distance.

As I love computers and I have deep intrest in computer science sk I choose this course. I learned much necessary things in the college. College should help and provide skills according to the students. There were hackathons done by the college which is a good step towards the development of students. Navigating KIIT : a comprehensive review of facilities and experiences

Placement Experience:

the placements are preety good in this college . however currenty the job market is down so it has impacted the college placements. from 6th semester onwards students become eligible for placements however the companies visit from 7th sem onwards . many renowned companies visit along with multiple startups offering from a range 4 lpa to 24 lpa all based on the potential of the students. the college offers a 100% placement but looking at current senario it seems difficult. mostly companies hire for sowftware engineers and product manager roles but , also provide marketing and sales job roles. 25 lakhs per annum is the highest package in the recent time average package is abput 5-10 lakhs per annum. though college promises 100% placements, the actual percentage is quite low about 50-60% students are getting placed which is also a result of the current job market scenario my plans after this degree is joining a company and finding my passion . i can also tink about my own startup based on my passion to make a change in the society .

CUTM Paralakhenundi is fun!!

I applied for GIET University and KIIT university and I was invited by both the universities. I thought chose this as Centurion University is like older than them and has AICTE approval before them. Orissa Joint Entrance Examination score is accepted by the university as you can fill the admission form online on CUTM website and if your 12th marks and OJEE score is as per the university cut-off you will receive and invitation letter and soon you can find yourself studying in this prestigious university....Read More
