Remarks
KK Modi was the first college to apply for. The admission criteria for B.com (Accounts and Finance) is above 50% and there is no age limit as such. The Admission head briefly explained the details of the program. The admission process starting with filling the application form and application fees. It ended with a personal interview with the Director of KK Modi Mr Amit Prasad.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B.Com honours (Accounts and Finance) because it includes knowledge of every subject in the commerce stream plus I am a Chartered Accountant aspirant so accounts and finance are my core subjects. The ratio between students and faculty is 10:10 as they are always available to solve our problems. The teaching method is commendable. In every 3 months, there are term exams and it depends upon the students how well they perform.
Internships Opportunities
Till now I haven't got any internship opportunities. It is said that we will get internship opportunities from the 2nd year onwards. Students of the MBA program got an internship at Godfrey Phillips India limited with a stipend of 25,000 INR per month for 5 months.
Placement Experience
In my program, B.Com (Accounts and Finance) placements are provided from the 2nd year onwards. Till now we haven't got any notifications related to this. I am pursuing Chartered Accountancy along with this course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is given only on tuition fees and not on academic fees. and that too also to other courses students and not to B.Com students. We have been given instructions that we will get placement from the 2nd year onwards. the students who have enrolled in MBA course have got placements at Godfrey Phillips India Limited with a stipend of 25,000 per month
Campus Life
We have not attended an annual fest or tech fest due to the Covid pandemic. E-Books and Harvard business case studies are provided for learning purpose. There is an open library area on the campus and students can have free access to books whichever they want.
Interview Experience
The application process is divided into three categories. First, students have to pay an amount of 1080 INR to register themselves in the respective course. Secondly, they have to pass a written examination and answer the question related to their fields in which English is compulsory for everyone. Thirdly, they have to pass an interview in which the basic question is asked to know the personality of the individual.
