BEST COLLEGE FOR TOURISM

I applied for both campuses of amity, the only reason I didn't choose them was that I wanted to join the best college. Earlier, I had an entrance exam which is related to management and after the entrance, we had GD-PI. We can apply for iittm if we have 50% in 12th and 45% for reserved category. All we need to do is register and they give every information including counseling.

When I joined the college, they revised the BBA course which was more interesting, the Bhubaneswar campus has a very supportive faculty and every single person has a mentality to change the future of every student. Every semester had 5 papers in BBA. We had doctorates in our faculties who were highly knowledgeable. There were 6 semesters and exams depend on the attentiveness to classes, and also it was an activity-based course.

Internships are provided by the faculties according to the students performance and relation between their environment. Internships are provided in different locations for better expiriences. These internships include stipend with accomodation.

Campus placements are eligible for final semester students. Thomas cook, sotc, cox and kings, irctc which are top companies in India come for placements. Max package students have placed in 45,000/- INR I have plans to do higher studies in International Tourism Management abroad. And due to covid we have some ups and downs but on the previous placement almost 98% got placed.

I didn't have much knowledge about the scholarship because I didn't apply for it. Per semester it costs around 50,000/- INR and in the first semester, it might vary because it adds with the other expenses. Approximately per year, it costs 100000/- INR I would say it's worth paying for a course like that.

Every class is a smart class and provided with air condition and we have wifi facility all over the campus and have computer lab to learn basics about comupter knowledge. We have one of the finest library which contains every books related to tourism and management, and as i mentioned the course is complete activity bases and we had lot of clubs as well, like culture, wall magazine, dance, and music, photography, litreature, backbagers, and travellers. We have freshers day and college night, and anual sports meet which includes futsal, badminton, table tennis, volley ball, athletics

It started with the entrance exam and it covered general affairs and aptitude. Once after the result of the entrance exam, you would be notified of the GD-PI Which are group discussions and personal interviews. The entrance exam would be conducted in a nearby location but for GDPI you need to go to any campus of iittm, and there are almost 5 campuses in India. In the group discussion, they had a general topic that was related to economics, we spoke about how tourism can make a major role in India.
