Remarks

Good placements. You start getting placement offers from 7th semester for companies including TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc. Fees is much less as compared to other engineering colleges in Nashik. Good faculty. College organized cultural programmes and sports events every year. Separate building for library. Provide hostel facilities in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Placements in computer department are very good. The faculty is excellent with best teaching method. Term exams are conducted in Oct/Nov and in Apr/May. It is not difficult to pass in exams if you attend lectures and practicals daily. Concepts are cleared in depth during lectures.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies have their own selection criteria. Some of the companies visited are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Aress, Wipro, Enigma, Neebal, Capgemini, Swan solutions, etc. Majority of the students get placed. And some opt for higher studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees goes on decreasing after first year. Scholarship is offered to reserved categories and also for EWS. Placements are good. You start getting placement offers from 7th semester for companies including TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc.

Campus Life

Cultural programme "Resonance" is organised every year. Sports events are organised as well. There is a separate building for library. There are various clubs run by the students. Every classroom has a projector. All the labs are well equipped.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
