A good college to shine better

This college has all transportation facilities within small distance around the college which made my parents to choose this college. I personally did a small research about the college before joining, like reading the comments of the passed out students. And I also learned that the course(BCA) offered in this college ranked 6th position in overall India for the best college for providing this particular course. And I also got the syllabus of this course from the college website which made me to analyze whether I should study in this college or not. The admission process ends soon when compared to the other colleges. This is one of the quickest college to finish the the admission process followed by MCC and Stella Maris. I used Collegedunia and shishka websites to review about the college.Pros : 1. They have a very big library which feasts your book thirst (I am one of the kind).They also provide daily newspapers in the library to make ourselves aware of all the things that is happening around us. 2. Very pleasant ambiance. As a student, I always thought that a college or an institution should have a pleasant environment which elevates their mood to read and to learn things and this college had satisfied me in that. 3. Good food and fresh drinks in the canteen area. 4. Friendly staffs (not sure about other departments). 5. This college involves senates to make decisions about the cultural and other events that are happening inside the college which gives the student the idea of leadership and to be one. 6. It has more than 4 hostels and provides a good feel to the resident students. Cons :you 1. The people in the office area would delay our work sometimes. 2. Short lunch time for the evening shift students. I would really recommend this college to others but this college is lit bit strict. If you can cope with it, you can really go for it. You can surely find your hidden talents in this place.

I choose this course because I am interested in computer science, so I went for this.Staffs are really friendly but the number of staffs are really less when compared to the student strength. It would be better if they had atleast 3 to 4 staffs extra (Presently they have 5 staffs). We have 2 internal exams before the semester and the final marking system will be like 50% from end semester exams and 50% from both the internal exams. Exams are quite easy. And about the teaching method I would give a 8 out of 10. And the department will change the syllabus according to the current technology trends. This year they introduced Machine learning.

In the mid or at the end of the 5th semester is the eligible semester for attending interviews. Placements often occur on different dates for the different departments. They always try to provide 100% campus offers and for the students who wish to persue higher studies, they will give some career ideas.

They have college scholarship according to the marks and other governmental scholarships are also given to the students. They always have campus interview at the end of 5th semester and I got selected in Infosys. The odd semester fees will be around 30 - 35000 while even semester fees will be around 20 - 21000.

The campus is really cool with all those colorful trees and flowers and small fish ponds. The infrastructure is really great. They have so many clubs inside the college like arts , music ,dance ,debate, drama, photography and so on. You can really enrich your talents through these clubs

I never had an interview process for the admission but it was based on the marks obtained in 12th exams. They will send the call letter for the course applied through mail and if interested we can directly go and get a seat for the course
